Singapore Airlines logo history

Singapore Airlines was established in 1973, when Singapore separated from Malaysia. Singapore Airlines strived for development in the international direction, so it was decided to create the appropriate logo, which subsequently has been changed only twice.

The logo creation was based on the blue and yellow colors. These colors are reflected in the emblem of the state. First, the background was blue, the inscription was white, and the emblem was painted in yellow. But later on, the colors were changed - the inscription became blue, and the background was white, but the emblem remained yellow.

Now the transformed logo is used - the yellow line under the inscription has been added. According to the designers' opinion, now the logo has a complete look and most fully meets the international standards. This is exactly what marketers have been trying to consolidate the leading position of the airline in the global market.
